The 2026 Mícheál Ó Cléirigh Summer School will take place over the weekend of Friday 8th May to Sunday 10th May. The weekend is focused on Irish history of the late medieval period from the 16th Century to the mid 18th Century exploring the social, political and international history of the period. Each year the weekend talks explore various topic hosted by the history department of UCD led by Professor John McCafferty of the Mícheál Ó Cléirigh Institute UCD.
